Fire at Potami

Here are some pictures - not from the fire itself - but from the work right after it.
When I arrived the 2 waterplanes returned to Samos airport, and the 2 helicopters continued their work for many hours. Most of the firetrucks and firefighters from the northside of the island were busy transporting water to the area and to secure, that the fire not started again.
The volunteer firemen from Kokkari were mentioned in the radio and got a special 'thank-you', because they - as allways - were very helpful and came very quick to help. Even though they only had one firetruck left and fewer people, they still managed to increase their firepatrols in their own area.
